SCHEDULE IS COMPLETE
The schedule for the 2026 Tulsa regional competition is now complete. It is scheduled for Friday-
Sunday, February 6-8 at the Arvest Convention Center (formerly the Cox Business Convention
Center) located at 100 Civic Center in downtown Tulsa. We will be in the TULSA BALLROOM
again this year located at the far North end of the building. Performance times for all studios have
been emailed to studio directors, and a general schedule appears below. If you’ve not received
your schedule confirmation, please check your email “spam” folder before you contact us.

DOWNTOWN PARKING
Please plan a little extra time to secure parking in the area when you arrive. Your closest option is
the Civic Centre Parkade garage located adjacent to the venue. Just be aware there are no “in-
and-out privileges,” so once you leave the garage you’ll have to pay again if you return.

SCHEDULE FLEXIBILITY
Even though we have provided “to-the-minute” information in your schedule confirmation, you
should still use it as a general guideline only. All acts should also be ready, and willing, to perform
up to one hour earlier or later than scheduled as it is not unusual for the show to run early or, on
rare occasions, a little late.

PERFORMANCE MUSIC UPLOAD AND REVIEW
If you’ve not already uploaded your music, you must do so immediately. Uploading your
performance music is required. Log in to your DanceComp Genie dashboard, look for the “Upload
Music” button, then attach each music file where indicated. Once your music is uploaded, we
strongly recommend that you listen to each file to confirm that you have uploaded what you
intended to. Be advised, however, that uploaded files can only be listened to from a PC (not a
MAC) that is running the Chrome browser. We cannot be responsible for music uploaded
incorrectly and, in fairness, we cannot allow an act to re-compete because of an incorrect music
upload. We also strongly recommend that you have with you at the show a flash/thumb drive
containing all your music files that we can use as a backup if necessary. Contact us with any
questions or issues and we’ll be happy to assist.

TOP CHARITY DANCE DOWN IS BACK
Students who donate $5 or more to our sponsored charities at the show will receive a special
ticket that will allow them to participate. These students will learn a quick combination on stage
and then dance down to a winner. The winner will receive a special plaque and a pair of Bombas
Socks. The money collected will be donated to Drea’s Dream, a dance therapy/expressive
movement program for children with cancer and special needs (dreasdream.org). Check the
general schedule for Charity Dance Down time(s).

PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEO RECORDING WILL BE PROHIBITED
Photography and video recording will only be allowed during awards presentations. This rule will
be strictly enforced and has been established to protect the rights of studio owners, directors,
teachers, choreographers, and costume designers. We also want to prevent unauthorized photos
from being used elsewhere in a questionable manner. Professional performance photos and
videos will be available from Alive Video and Photo for those who may be interested. Just make
sure selections are made and orders are placed at the show as photo and video images will NOT
be available to view or purchase after the show online.

RULES REVIEW

If you’ve not already done so, please take a few minutes to review the complete list of rules and
guidelines posted at talentonparade.com/rulesanddivisions. Pay particular attention to the RUN
OFF POLICY
as you help your dancers (and their parents) understand the consequences they
face if they choose to leave the stage during the performance.

PROP SET UP AND REMOVAL
The total amount of consolidated (total of on AND off) time allotted for all props is 2 minutes,
except for Productions which are allotted 3 consolidated minutes. Score deductions will be
assessed if overtime. We are now offering the option to purchase an additional 3 minutes of
consolidated prop set-up/removal time (for a total consolidated allotment of 5 minutes, except for
Productions which will receive a total consolidated allotment of 6 minutes). This optional prop
“insurance” will be charged at $75 per act(s) for those Group acts that you request extended prop
time for. Score deductions will not apply to insured Group acts until more than 5 consolidated
minutes of prop set-up/removal time (6 consolidated minutes for Productions) has expired, versus
2 consolidated minutes (3 consolidated minutes for Productions) of prop set-up/removal time
for non-insured Group acts. Prop insurance is only available to Group acts and must be
purchased prior to performance.

CRITIQUES AND SCORES
Video critiques and digital scores will be available for you to view in the week following the show
by logging in to your DanceComp Genie account dashboard.
