Thank you for your interest in this national event. Please keep in mind as you
decide when to submit and pay for your entries that we have had national events
sell out in the past. Entering unpaid acts does not “hold your place” and those
acts are subject to being bumped at any time, without warning, by paid acts from
another studio. You are strongly encouraged to submit payment-in-full at the time
you enter your acts to secure your place.
REBATE DEADLINE: Not Applicable
The significant additional expense in producing national events makes a rebate
unavailable. We appreciate your understanding and support.
GENERAL DEADLINE: May 27, 2027
This is the final deadline by which all entries must be submitted online and paid-
in-full.
ANTICIPATED SCHEDULE POSTING: On or before June 2, 2027
Each show is scheduled independently based on the number of acts and how
those acts break down among solos, duet/trios and groups. There is no such
thing as a “standard” schedule. It is therefore virtually impossible to even guess
when any act or group of acts will perform prior to schedule posting. It is also
generally very difficult to accommodate individual schedule requests given that
multiple such requests almost always conflict with one another. Also, making
assumptions about the schedule based on a prior year’s schedule is not
recommended. A general schedule will be posted here immediately as it
becomes available. Immediately thereafter a specific schedule with individual
performance times for each act will be emailed to each studio.
PERFORMANCE MUSIC UPLOAD AND REVIEW
If you’ve not already uploaded your music, you must do so immediately.
Uploading your performance music is required. Log in to your DanceComp Genie
dashboard, look for the “Upload Music” button, then attach each music file where
indicated. Once your music is uploaded, we strongly recommend that you listen
to each file to confirm that you have uploaded what you intended to. Be advised,
however, that uploaded files can only be listened to from a PC (not a MAC) that
is running the Chrome browser. We cannot be responsible for music uploaded
incorrectly and, in fairness, we cannot allow an act to re-compete because of an
incorrect music upload. We also strongly recommend that you have with you at
the show a flash/thumb drive containing all your music files that we can use as a
backup if necessary. Contact us with any questions or issues and we’ll be happy
to assist.
EXTENDED PERFORMANCE TIME
We are now offering up to 2 additional minutes of extended performance time for
Small Groups, Large Groups, Lines, and Productions. Fees are $3 per dancer for
each additional 30 seconds, up to 2 minutes of extended time allowed. These
fees will be automatically added during entry processing. Scores for extended
time acts that exceed the 2-minute time extension will be automatically deducted
at 1 second over time limit, and for each 30 seconds overtime thereafter.
PROP SET UP & REMOVAL
We are now offering the option to purchase an additional 3 minutes of
consolidated prop set-up/removal time (for a total consolidated allotment of 5
minutes, except for Productions which will receive a total consolidated allotment
of 6 minutes.) this optional prop "insurance" will be charged at $75 per act(s) for
those Group acts that you request extended prop time. Point deductions will not
apply to insured Group acts until more than 5 consolidated minutes of set-
up/removal time (6 min. for Productions) has expired, versus 2 consolidated
minutes (3 min. for Productions) of set-up/removal time for non-insured Group
acts. Prop insurance is ONLY available to Group acts and must be purchased in
advance of the show
CREDIT/DEBIT CARD FEES
A 3% fee will be automatically added to all credit/debit card transactions. Avoid
the added fee by submitting certified funds instead. Email the TOP office
