July 19-24, 2010 in Branson, Missouri

This workshop, the first of its kind in the Midwest, will provide pre-professional dancers the opportunity to train, perform, learn, and live the life of a professional dancer. If you've set your sights on the professional dance world, this is an awesome opportunity to truly find out what it takes to get there. It's a "learn by doing" program that not only teaches you what it takes, but also puts you on the stage in real live professional performances.

The T.O.P. Go Pro Pre-Professional Workshop includes:

  • Five days of training, feedback, and guidance from amazing and well-connected teacher/choreographers out of Las Vegas and L.A. These are working professionals with international credits that encompass many genres of dance, stage performance, television, movies, music videos, industrials, audio recording and more.
  • Workshops on auditioning, headshots, bios, video reels, makeup, networking, and expectations in training and attitude.
  • A very open and honest "So You Think You Can Dance" style audition that will play a role in your assignments to actual professional appearances including showcase performances at The Mansion Theater with "Peter Pan" starring Cathy Rigby, and "Hits of the 50s" at the Branson Variety Theater. Also included will be a special pre-show performance with "The Twelve Irish Tenors."
  • Behind the scenes visits at popular Branson theaters where you'll meet, interact, and have a chance to network with the performers and choreographers.
  • All accommodations, most meals, transportation, airport transfers, show tickets, parties, shopping and sightseeing opportunities.

A limited number of non-scholarship positions may be available. If you're interested you must submit a DVD performance (solo preferably) and a completed Registration Form with deposit. If you are accepted you will receive email notification with additional instructions. If you are not accepted you will receive email notification and your deposit will be refunded in full (DVDs will not be returned). Non-scholarship applications will be considered on a first-come-first-served basis only if the program does not fill with scholarship applicants. Participation will be limited to 40 dancers. Non-scholarship applications must be received by May 21. Due to the pre-professional nature of this program beginning dancers are not encouraged to apply. Participants must be at least 13 years old to attend.
