Our TOP Charity Dance Down Program works like this: Donate at least $5.00 to our sponsored charities in the TOP Shop Merchandise area and you’ll receive a Dance Down ticket. Trade that ticket for a chance at becoming a Dance Down Champion. Prior to one or more of our awards ceremonies we’ll call participating dancers onto the stage to learn a quick combination – nothing fancy or super hard, just for fun. From there we’ll narrow the field and finally pick a winner. The winner will receive a special plaque and a pair of TOMS Shoes. TOMS in turn will donate a pair of shoes to a child in need through their One For One program. 100% of the money collected will be given to Drea’s Dream and The Truth 365.
Drea’s Dream is a dance therapy/expressive movement program for pediatric young adult populations in hospitals, special education classrooms and medical settings throughout the country. Proceeds we bring in through our TOP Charity Dance Downs are passed on to this organization. We donate thousands of dollars to Drea’s Dream each year. Please visit their website at: http://www.dreasdream.org/
The TOMS One for One program provides a free pair of TOMS Shoes to children in need every time a new pair of TOMS Shoes is purchased. We award each winner of each TOP Charity Dance Down with a TOMS gift certificate which we have purchased on his or her behalf. The gift certificate allows the Dance Down winner go online and pick out a pair of TOMS Shoes for themselves, thereby having a pair of TOMS Shoes provided to a child in need in his or her name. We award in the neighborhood of 50 certificates each year. Please visit their website at: http://www.toms.com/one-for-one-en
The Truth 365 is both an Emmy Award-winning grass roots documentary film and social media campaign that gives a voice to all children fighting all forms of cancer. The mission is to shine a light on the state of childhood cancer research funding by uniting the childhood cancer community, members of Congress, top pediatric oncologists and several of the country’s most influential celebrities. It is a collaborative campaign led and supported by many well-respected cancer organizations nationwide. Please visit their website at: http://www.thetruth365.org/

Talent On Parade started as a hobby for us. Something for us to have fun with on the weekends. We never imagined how having so much fun would lead to where we are today. From the beginning we knew we wanted to create something special. Fair and ethical competition was a must. On-time events would be essential. Emphasis on fun, learning and development must also be paramount. Turns out, a whole lot of people decided to join us in this pursuit of happiness, and nearly 20 years from its inception Talent On Parade has become a source for changing lives for the better through its many programs. Although traditional dance competition is our foundation, we are so much more than that now. Talent On Parade is a year around dance education, performance, and training company. We host dance competitions in the first half of the year, dance camps in the summer, workshops in the fall, and specialty events throughout. We continue to love what we do and hope that it shows. Something that has been reinforced for us over the years is the importance of working with good people. Talent On Parade is the sum of its people and we couldn’t be more proud of the staff we’ve assembled. We believe you’ll find them to be honest, friendly, and professional. You should also find that they truly care about your kids as they encourage success for them, both in the present and in the future. For more about who we are, what we believe, and where we come from we encourage you to read through the many blogs posted on our site. Some of them are a bit dated by now, but the concepts remain true over time. To those of you who have shared in this journey, thank you. To those of you considering joining us we say welcome!
Thanks for visiting us on the web. We hope to get to meet you in person as well!
